Minimum Age & Driving Experience

The minimum age to rent a car is 21 years with at least 2 years of driving experience. Drivers aged 21–25 may rent vehicles with a young driver surcharge.

Required Documents

To rent a car you need: a valid passport or ID card, a valid driving licence, and a credit or debit card for the deposit.

Included in the Rental

The rental price includes: unlimited mileage within Bulgaria, compulsory Third Party Liability insurance (TPL), and a Bulgarian motorway vignette.

Security Deposit

A deposit of €300 to €500, depending on the car class, is held at the time of pick-up. It is released upon return of the vehicle in good condition.

Fuel Policy

Cars are provided with a full tank and must be returned full. A refuelling fee applies if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.

Cross-Border Travel

Taking the vehicle outside Bulgaria is permitted only with prior written approval and an additional fee.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the rental start. A fee of 50% of the first day's rental applies for later cancellations.
